Illustrated Appreciations Project

For Kate’s 50th birthday, a friend challenged her to create 50 illustrated appreciations. Always one to take up a challenge, this is the work so far…

Week 1 – “Appreciate yourself, who you are and what you feel deep within your soul”.
Week 2 – “Appreciate the small things. Cup of tea. By the sea. That’ll do me.”
Week 3 – “Even the rats and rascals in my life can bring me joy!”
Week 4 – “Appreciate the power of the waves in a storm”.
Week 5 – “Always appreciate what you have before it becomes something you had.”
Week 6 – “Appreciate your freedom because you can!”
Week 7 -“A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is til she gets into hot water!”
Week 8 – “Being a teacher doesn’t just mean inspiring children; it’s about how they inspire you too!”
Week 9 – “Appreciating the advice given by people that love you! “
Week 10- “Learn to appreciate , when all gets a little too much you need to take a break!”
Week 11- “Today I appreciate 6 years of sobriety!”
Week 12- “To appreciate a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can really be”
Week 13. “Bee Kind!”
Week 14. “Appreciating the freedom that comes from inner strength”
Week 15. “Appreciating that we are able to provide a place for those who seek refuge”
