Kate Tulett is an experienced art teacher and experimental artist specialising in acrylics and textiles. With a B Ed (HONS) in Art, Design & Technology, secondary teaching degree with over 25yrs of teaching in both senior schools and currently a local prep school.
Her passion lies in textiles and mixed media, encouraging students to experiment with diverse materials. She champions sustainability by reclaiming materials wherever possible and finding creative solutions to reduce waste.
In 2020, Kate opened her workshop and studio, expanding to offer art courses, clubs, and workshops for ages 5-100. She’s also written a book about channelling emotions into art for self-healing and giving back to those in need. After meeting someone with a shared vision, she launched the popular Last Thursday events. Her mission is simple: make art accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
“I opened Kate Tulett Art For All because art ignites my soul, and I believe in sharing that creative spark with the world. My heart’s passion is to make art accessible, achievable, and enjoyable for people from all walks of life.”
Kate creates a judgment-free environment where creativity flourishes, mistakes become learning opportunities, and students discover hidden talents. Her infectious passion ensures everyone leaves feeling positive, accomplished, and eager to continue their artistic journey.
As a neurodiverse artist, Kate throws rules out the window and finds creative solutions to problems in everything she does. She can turn her hand to most things and is passionate about unlocking this same creative problem-solving ability in others like her.

“Kate’s passion for art rubs off on all who venture through her door. Her Arty Parties are great fun, as are her holiday courses and evening classes. She always knows how to get the very best of her budding artists, be they 7 or 70. Everyone leaves having created something unique, as well as feeling really positive and happy.“
