About

Kate Tulett is an experienced art teacher and experimental artist, specialising in acrylics and textiles.

Having studied Design & Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University, she has worked as an art teacher at many schools and colleges across the country and is currently head of art at a local school.

Kate’s passion is textiles and mixed media, and she loves to encourage students to experiment with all sorts of materials. She uses reclaimed, recycled materials wherever possible and her frames are reused and up-cycled from discarded frames or made from reclaimed wood.

During Covid Kate opened up a workshop and studio to enable her to have a creative space to grow and produce her art. Since 2020 kate has expanded her business and runs art courses, clubs, workshops for 5 – 500yr olds!

She continues to work as Head of Art at a local prep school in Surrey.

She also continues to be…

An artist

A tutor

A mother

A partner

A friend

A dog mum

A businesswoman

And an all-round awesome human being

P.S. She continues to grow, to learn and to love.

Kate is a very enthusiastic teacher and whether you’re an adult, child or somewhere in-between, Kate’s classes, courses and parties are always great fun.

Kate’s passion for art rubs off on all who venture through her door. Her Arty Parties are great fun, as are her holiday courses and evening classes. She always knows how to get the very best of her budding artists, be they 7 or 70. Everyone leaves having created something unique, as well as feeling really positive and happy.
